Dear Friends, In-laws, Out-laws, Readers, and Book Lovers, the brilliantly gifted cover artists of Damonza.com have prepared six potential covers for my May release South of Justice. While the cover art for all the choices are so heart-stirring GORGEOUS, only one can represent the story. So your challenge, if you choose to accept it, is to read the following description and vote on which cover best grabs you by the collar and shouts “BUY ME!” Please list them by number from favorite to least favorite.

Please comment on my website so I can easily tally the votes. If you want to be notified when the print and eBook can be ordered, and when the release date arrives, enter your info in the “Subscribe to Book News” form on my website. I ask for ZIP code info only for book signings, such as the one in Albuquerque in September, for example, I will shoot a notice to folks in that ZIP code in case they want a signed copy. Those who join my mailing list will be notified only when a book comes out or if I am in your ZIP code for a signing.

South of Justice

At thirty-five, veterinarian Terri Pinehurst has achieved the financial, social, and personal goals in her life, except for one. She wants a lifetime kind of love, but like all her goals, this one, too, has high standards. When she meets FBI Agent Blake Clayton, he exceeds her hopes and wakes up dormant passions in her. The day they marry at Blake’s family’s ranch in North Carolina, fishermen find bones in the nearby river that lead to an investigation into the death of a missing neighbor. After Blake is arrested, Terri launches her own search for the truth and an elusive witness, but should she believe the mounting evidence against her husband or her heart?

Thank you for your help!

If you would like to read the first chapter, click on the Books tab on my website. South of Justice is the first in a 4-part series, with North of the Killing Hand scheduled for October 2016. All prayers and encouragement are greatly appreciated! Let me apologize in advance for acting like a child planning a trip to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal. I will be insufferably joyful from now to publication date. The delayed gratification of publishing has built up tremendous pressure over the years and I am about to explode.

Do you judge a book by its cover? Ever bought a book because the cover captured your attention and held it?
