Fisher is the third book in her Compass Crimes series, but each title stands on its own – this one with strong female characters, a fast-moving pace, and its share of twists and turns. Love, family, religious faith, and a dose of glamour are written into the plot; a young woman is kidnapped after taking a job as a body double for a famous singer. With well-researched, scenarios, readers of crime fiction will enjoy the ride on this action adventure.

Well written it reads quickly and simply can’t be put down. Action packed with so many twists and turns to keep readers on the edge of the seat. Well-rounded and developed characters, with a fabulously strong and great willed lead character, a perfect role model. Great suspense read.

Fisher weaves memorable characters into a twisted plot of deceit, revenge, and absolution that hooks you from the first wood and doesn’t turn you loose. This complicated family is one you’ll want to know more about from the pages of this and the other Compass Crimes series books; each written to be read as a stand-alone. I strongly recommend reading this book and then perhaps going back to read the first books too.
