East of Evil has been shortlisted for the 2024 Murder & Mayhem Awards in the Amateur Sleuth Category. The winners will be announced later this year.
The M&M Book Awards recognize emerging new talent and outstanding works in the genre of Cozy and not-so-Cozy Mystery & Mayhem. The M&M Book Awards is a genre division of Chanticleer International Book Awards and Novel Competitions (CIBAs).

Chanticleer Book Reviews is looking for the best books featuring “mystery and mayhem,” amateur sleuthing, light suspense, travel mystery, classic mystery, British cozy, hobby sleuths, senior sleuths, or historical mystery, perhaps with a touch of romance or humor. We will put them to the test and choose the best among them.

Thank you, readers, for buying and reviewing East of Evil on Amazon and social media. I am well into writing the first book in the next series.
Update
East of Evil did not continue to the semi-final round of judging. Alas. To see all the wonderful titles that did, see the 2024 Murder & Mayhem Semi-Finalists. The winners will be announced in June.
And on the same day I was notified that East of Evil did not advance to the semi-finals, the Wishing Shelf Awards announced East of Evil is a finalist. The winners of that contest will be announced in March. All prayers are deeply appreciated for a win.
